Description : Our client, a medium-sized law firm in the City, has an opportunity for an HR Assistant to join their team. This is a 12 month maternity cover. Hybrid working. Salary £29k + benefits. If you have one year’s HR experience in a Professional Services firm or similar corporate environment, this is a great opportunity to develop your HR skills in a broad, generalist HR role. Reporting to the Head of HR and working closely with the HR team of c.5 people, you will be involved in assisting and supporting with the following – Appraisals Inductions Absence monitoring New joiners & leavers Performance management Recruitment Flexible working requests Exit interviews Updating the HR system Well-being Payroll & Benefits Booking Training Courses HR Projects & Initiatives HR reporting The role offers plenty of variety and scope to get involved with all areas of HR. You will need to be a graduate with a University degree plus one year’s HR experience in a Professional Services firm or similar corporate environment. The team is friendly and supportive and they have nice offices in a good location plus excellent benefits. Salary c.£29k.
