Description : Excellent career opportunity for an HR Officer or HR Assistant looking to make the next step up, to join a medium-sized law firm in the City. Salary c.£35-38k. Reporting to the Head of HR and supported by an HR Assistant, the role of HR Officer ( HR Advisor ) is varied and offers plenty of scope to be involved in all aspects of HR. This generalist HR Officer role includes – Absence management including maternity, holiday and sickness Inductions Payroll Recruitment Appraisals Ensuring HR records are updated accurately Mentoring and managing the HR Assistant, delegating work as appropriate Liaising with Trainers and external suppliers Attending HR networking and events when deputising for Head of HR Assist with performance management Assist with qualification process for Lawyers Ad hoc HR projects This is an exciting time to be joining the firm as it enjoys growth and success. They have a friendly and supportive environment plus an exceptionally low turnover of staff. The role is 4 days per week in the office and 1 day working from home.
