Description : Excellent opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join the team of an insurance company in the City. Salary up to £35k. Hours: 9am-5.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 4.30pm on Fridays. This is initially a 12mth contract with a view to going permanent. If you are an experienced corporate Receptionist and enjoy a varied, interesting role in a friendly, supportive team environment, this could be an ideal opportunity. Working closely with the Facilities team including a Housekeeper, Reception Supervisor and Admin Assistant, the role includes – Answering calls, taking accurate messages Greeting clients Maintaining a neat and tidy reception area Book meeting rooms Order stationary and monitor supplies Arrange couriers and deal with the post Book taxis Update spreadsheet for new joiners/leavers Arrange security passes Undertake desk assessments for new joiners Assist travel coordinator with booking flights and hotels Send invoices to accounts department for payment Assist with arrangements for events Ad hoc admin and support as required You will require previous experience as a Receptionist in a corporate environment, excellent customer service skills, knowledge of Word, Excel (for updating spreadsheets) and Outlook, plus A’level standard of education. The ideal candidate will be able to use their own initiative and excellent organisational skills to prioritise a busy workload. Attention to detail is important together with a proactive, flexible and positive “can-do” approach to tasks. Salary up to £35k.
